Language in ceramics can mimic that applied to our own bodies; vessels can have wide bellies, lips – you can trim a foot into your pot. As potters we experiment with new clay bodies, each with a different composition of mineral elements, and a different feeling.
For this show: BODY we are interested in ways in which bodies influence your work. Whether it be a clay body, body of water, body of work, or experience with your own corporeal form. Artists were encouraged to submit work that explores themes of form, vessels, autonomy, transformation, comfort, material, or just what it means to tote around that skeletal, fleshy mass we live in through life.
Opening night we will have live performances from musicians, story tellers, poets and more!
Our gallery show will include the works of local potters, painters, and mixed media artists.

Gallery will be up until November 14th - open during studio hours
Tickets can be purchased through this page or at the door night of.
All tickets are sliding scale/by donation and no one will be turned away at the door for lack of funds.
