Join us for 6 sessions over 6 weeks and learn Hand Building!
Have you been wanting to make a unique ceramic coffee or tea set, matching ramen bowls, a family of vases, or something else special? Come join us, and let’s create something!
No previous experience required. In this extended workshop, you will learn all of the hand building basics from pinch and coiling techniques to glazing. All tools and clay needed for this workshop will be provided.
We offer Hand Building Workshops at our Marpole Studio (Selkirk) as well!
Upcoming Dates:
Saturdays : Feb 21 - March 28th : 10am - 12:30pm
Mondays: March 30 - May 11th: 600pm-8:30pm break april 6th
How to Prepare and What to Bring:
Wear clothes and footwear that you can get a little muddy in.
We will provide an apron, but if you have a favourite one, feel free to bring that!
Trim your nails and have your hair up
The tools you need will be provided for you
You will receive 11 lbs of clay (half a bag) to work with during this workshop, additional clay and varieties of clay are available for purchase
Firing and glazes are included for things you make within this workshop
Drop-ins (at a discounted price) are available for you to practice while you learn!
Refunds / Cancellation:
Refunds are only available if you cancel 7 days before your first session. Please note, you will be charged a $75 cancellation fee.
