Skill Building Workshops: Throwing Wide (Saucers, Plates & Platters) @ Mount Pleasant
Our beloved Russell is back with another banger…. Throw WIDE
Ready to go wide? Roll up your sleeves for this 2.5-hour, one-day workshop focusing on throwing wide forms on the wheel. Warm up on our saucer / spoon rest demonstration, then challenge yourself with a dinner plate or serving platter for the main course!
Demonstrations will include proper usage of bats and bat pins, plus tips and tricks for drying and finishing your projects.
Date / Time:
December 12th from 600PM - 830PM
Availability: 8 spots.
Experience Level:
Participants should be comfortable centering and throwing basic cylinders
Clay is provided: throw fearlessly and commitment-free
Love what you throw? Keep your projects for an additional fee
How to Prepare and What to Bring:
Wear clothes and footwear that you can get a little muddy in.
We will provide an apron, but if you have a favourite one, feel free to bring that!
Refunds / Cancellations:
There are NO REFUNDS, once you book this workshop.
Note:
Please arrive 10m before your session starts. We have a 15 minute grace period to ensure that everyone will have a good experience. Please email us to reschedule. If you miss your reservation (there will be a $15 admin charge).
There are NO REFUNDS.
If you cancel 48 hrs before your workshop, a credit will be issued for a future workshop and there will be a $15 admin charge for any changes.
We are not responsible for any items that are left in the studio; please make sure to take all your personal items with you when you leave.
